Na tujem forumu sem zasledil debato glede vpliva nikotina na celjenje kosti in ran. Pri zadevi sem se malce bolj angažiral in napisal mail direktno Jacques-u Le Houezec-u in dobil odgovor:
Moje vprašanje:
Hello mr. Le Houezec,
my name is Rok and I am new e-cigarette user. My question is, does nicotine in e-cigarete affect bone healing? Is there any solid study?
Thank you for your answer in advance.
Best Regards

Njegov odgovor:
Hello Rok,
No, nicotine is not a problem for bone healing. Neither in e-cig nor in tobacco smoke. Other substances, including CO (carbon monoxide), are responsible for many problems, but not nicotine.
Best wishes,
Jacques

Moj drugi mail:
Thank you very much for your very fast answer.
I rather asking you as a scientist, because some doctors says, that is the nicotine (as vasoconstrictor) which is the main problem for bone healing.
Thank you.
Best Regards.

Njegov drugi odgovor:
No, it is not. Vasoconstriction with nicotine is not a big problem as smokers are tolerant to such effects. There is no evidence at all that pure nicotine is influencing bone healing, or even wound healing.
Lep pozdrav
Rok
